The marriage is arranged by their parents and Jade obediently agrees to it despite not being in love with Said.
On the other side of the world, in Brazil, we meet Lucas, a young man who is the son of a wealthy family. Lucas is outgoing, fun-loving, and enjoys partying. Despite his good looks and charm, he is not very responsible and his father is worried about his future.
When Lucas' father, Diogo, has a heart attack, Lucas is forced to take on more responsibility in the family business. He is given the task of launching a new line of cosmetics, which is being developed by a scientist named Albieri. Albieri's research has been focused on cloning, and he has succeeded in creating a clone of a deceased person.
As the story progresses, Lucas is introduced to Jade online and the two quickly develop a strong connection. Albieri decides to clone Lucas, creating an identical twin named Leo. Leo is introduced to Lucas' family and friends, but nobody knows about the cloning except Albieri and his team.
