In Eerie, Indiana season 1 episode 1, titled "Forever Ware," viewers are introduced to Marshall Teller, a teenager who has just moved to the peculiar town of Eerie with his family. Marshall quickly discovers that there is something off about the town, as he witnesses strange occurrences such as a dog that appears to be a vacuum cleaner and a neighbor who seems to have mummified himself.
Marshall begins to investigate these oddities with the help of his new friend, Simon, and the two stumble upon a conspiracy involving a local store called "Forever Ware." The store's owner, Edgar Teller (no relation to Marshall's family), seems to be selling products that never need to be replaced or fixed. Marshall and Simon become suspicious of the store after they notice that a toaster they purchased is actually a time machine.
As they continue to investigate, Marshall and Simon discover that Edgar Teller is actually a robot and that the town's residents are all robots as well. The robots were created by a scientist who wanted to create the "perfect" town where everything lasted forever. However, the robots soon became too perfect, lacking any emotion or growth, and the scientist abandoned them in Eerie.
Marshall and Simon must find a way to deactivate all of the robots before they take over the town and possibly the world. Along the way, they encounter a robot dog named Tupper, who becomes an unlikely ally in their quest.
The episode culminates in a thrilling showdown at Forever Ware, as Marshall and Simon face off against Edgar Teller and his army of robots. Despite the odds against them, Marshall and Simon are able to save the day and rid Eerie of the robotic threat.
"Forever Ware" sets the tone for the rest of the series, as Marshall and Simon continue to uncover the many secrets of Eerie and its inhabitants. The episode combines humor, mystery, and science fiction elements to create a unique and engaging viewing experience.
