Included is a pamphlet for group-leader use, chock full of helpful hints, related Bible passages, and discussion questions. This 54-minute video magazine also features a 10-minute segment on Camp Barnabas--where able-bodied teenagers counsel physically and developmentally disabled kids--a 2-minute installment of a drama that continues through the series, a Christian rock video, and a surprisingly candid mail bag. While stopping short of gritty, the video does address tough issues in an unadulteratedly Christian manner.

This video features the stories of three teens, Kim, Doug and C.J., who tell of their struggles with anger, both their own and others'. Kim lives with a brother with attention deficit disorder, meaning her life is punctuated by her brother's constant frustration and explosive rage. Doug has struggled with shoplifting and drinking, while C.J. has tried to leave the gangbanger life behind. There are also segments that profile young actor Austin O'Brien (Last Action Hero), who has struggled with his Christianity and humility while pursuing a Hollywood career, and other issues that should be of interest to teenagers. #14 Content: This edition of the Christian newsmagazine-style series for teens focuses on pregnancy and babies, the band Sixpence None the Richer, and difficult family relations. The 45 minutes are divided into sections for easy viewing by youth groups, with a booklet included for discussion leaders. The first section--and longest at 17 minutes--features several young people candidly discussing the personal and spiritual costs of teen pregnancy. They include a 14-year-old boy helping his teenage girlfriend to raise their child, a girl raising her son alone, another who gave her baby up for adoption, and one who chose to have an abortion. The subjects are treated compassionately rather than judgmentally. Next is a short piece on one student's temptation to give in to physical appetites at college, followed by a 15-minute interview with three of the members of the Christian pop band Sixpence None the Richer, in which they discuss their insecurities, the loss of one member's father, and the temptations of early fame and success. Two short dramas follow, illustrating family resentments and conflicts. The tape wraps up with a four-minute concert piece from the band, featuring the song "Love, Salvation, the Fear of Death."
