Ed, Pass it On is the twentieth episode of the third season of the popular animated TV show, Ed, Edd n' Eddy. This American-Canadian series, which was created by Danny Antonucci, revolves around the misadventures of three best friends - Ed, Edd (also known as Double D), and Eddy - in the fictional town of Peach Creek.
In this particular episode, the trio finds a long-lost treasure map that supposedly leads to a cache of jawbreakers, their favorite candy. Eddy sees this as an opportunity to finally become rich and famous and decides to lead the expedition. However, Edd, who is the most sensible and cautious of the group, suggests that they form a plan and take turns leading the way, so that everyone gets a fair share of the loot.
The plan is that whoever finds the next clue on the map has to pass it on to the next person, until they finally find the treasure. However, things start to go wrong almost immediately, as Ed accidentally swallows the first clue, and Edd's attempts to retrieve it lead to a chase sequence involving the entire group. This sets the tone for the rest of the episode, as the trio must overcome various obstacles and challenges in their attempt to find the treasure.
As they progress through the treasure map, they end up in various parts of Peach Creek, and run into several other characters from the show, such as Jonny, Plank, Jimmy, and Sarah. Each of these characters adds their own unique flavor to the episode, resulting in several hilarious moments that will have viewers laughing out loud.
One of the running gags in the episode is that the group keeps getting sidetracked and distracted by different things they come across, such as a flower garden, a group of squirrels, and a toy car. This often leads to arguments and disagreements, as Eddy becomes increasingly frustrated with his friends' lack of focus.
Another highlight of the episode is the series of traps and obstacles that the map leads them through. These range from a giant spider web to a pool of slime to a pit of snakes, and each requires the group to work together to overcome. This allows for some excellent teamwork and character development, as we see each of the three friends use their unique skills and personalities to get through the challenges.
As the group gets closer to the treasure, tensions start to rise and old grudges begin to surface. Eddy becomes increasingly paranoid and selfish, and Ed starts to get distracted by his own hunger cravings. Meanwhile, Edd tries his best to keep the group on track, but is constantly undermined by his friends.
The climax of the episode is an epic chase sequence that involves all of the characters in the show, as they race to be the first to find the treasure. The chase takes them through Peach Creek and finally ends up in a hidden cave, where the treasure is supposedly located. However, when they get there, they discover that the treasure is not what they expected, leading to a twist ending that will leave viewers surprised.
Overall, Ed, Pass it On is a highly entertaining episode that showcases the best aspects of the show. It has a fun plot, excellent character interactions, and great humor that will keep viewers engaged from start to finish. Whether you're a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer, this episode is sure to entertain.
