In this episode of Earth To Luna season 3, named "In or Out?", our favorite curious little girl, Luna, is on a mission to find out more about the ocean. Luna is fascinated by the ocean and the creatures that live in there and she wants to learn more about them. She starts by studying a picture book about marine life.
In the book, Luna sees all kinds of fascinating creatures like jellyfish, crabs, and octopuses. She learns about how they breathe underwater and how they move around. Luna is fascinated by how some of the creatures are able to camouflage themselves to blend in with their surroundings.
Suddenly, Luna's brother, Jupiter, barges into the room and startles her. He wants to show Luna a new toy he has just received. Luna, being the curious kid that she is, can't help but investigate. Jupiter shows her the toy, which is a remote-controlled submarine that can explore underwater. Luna is thrilled and excited at the toy, but she starts to wonder about the ethics of disturbing marine life.
Luna remembers reading in her book that some creatures are sensitive to vibrations and noises. She worries that the submarine might cause harm to the creatures living in the ocean. So, she decides to conduct an experiment to see how different marine animals react to noise.
Luna starts by playing different kinds of music to a fish in a tank. She observes that the fish doesn't seem to react much to the music. She then plays a loud, sudden noise to the fish and notices that it starts shaking and appears to be stressed out. Luna concludes that loud and sudden noises can harm marine life.
Next, Luna moves on to testing how her brother's submarine affects marine life. She puts some fish in a tank and starts driving the submarine around. Luna notices that the fish start swimming frantically and bumping into each other. Luna realizes that the submarine is indeed disturbing marine life and decides to return the submarine to her brother.
Luna's mother sees her daughter's concern for marine life and suggests that they take a trip to the beach to learn more about the ocean and how to take care of it. On the beach, Luna and her family observe the tide coming in and out, and how it affects the creatures that live on the shore. Luna learns about how people can take care of the ocean by keeping it clean and by not disturbing the creatures that live there.
At the end of the episode, Luna reflects on what she has learned and realizes that she loves the ocean even more now that she understands how to take care of it. She decides to inspire others to take care of the ocean by writing a story about the importance of protecting it.
"In or Out?" is a fun and educational episode that teaches kids about marine life and the importance of taking care of the ocean. Luna's curiosity and concern for the environment make her a great role model for young viewers. With its colorful animation and engaging storyline, this episode is a must-watch for kids who love learning about science and nature.
