Ep 8. On the Edge

On the Edge is the eighth episode of season 4 of the popular survival show Dual Survival. In this episode, the two seasoned survivalists, Cody Lundin and Joe Teti find themselves stranded on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. The team must quickly find food, water, and shelter to survive while facing various challenges and obstacles along the way.

As time goes on, Cody and Joe begin to experience the harsh conditions of the island. They are tired, hungry, and dehydrated, which makes it difficult for them to carry out even simple tasks. In order to get a better view of their surroundings and increase their chances of finding food, Cody climbs a tree. Once he's up there, he lets Joe know that he’s stuck, putting him in a precarious position. From below Joe tries to help Cody who is terrified of heights and the tree starts to sway that causes fear to Cody.

As the days pass, the team's spirits begin to lift as they manage to start a fire without any fire striker. In order to fire, they used natural materials and friction-based techniques that show their skills and experience in survival. They also build a shelter from coconut leaves for much-needed protection from the elements.

As the episode progresses, the safety of the team is compromised when they come across a large snake which is definitely venomous. The episode shows how important it is to recognize the dangerous and deadly creatures that inhabit the area and know how to avoid them.

Towards the end of the episode, Cody and Joe are rescued by a passing boat. The two men are visibly tired and exhausted, but they have managed to survive their ordeal on the island. Before they leave, the team creates a makeshift ‘help’ sign on the beach, as a reminder of their experience.

On the Edge is a gripping episode that shows the true skills and determination of survivalists, Cody Lundin and Joe Teti. Despite facing many challenges, the pair never gave up and remained focused on finding food and water.
