Jane is representing a young girl, Abby, who has a rare heart condition and has been denied a transplant by the insurance company. With the help of Grayson, Jane sets out to prove that the insurance company is wrongfully denying Abby's claim and that she is a deserving candidate for a transplant. Meanwhile, Jane is dealing with her own change of heart as she considers accepting Owen's marriage proposal. Stacy seeks advice from Fred regarding her relationship with Fred's brother, Luke.
