Jane and Grayson take on a case defending Deb's high school nemesis and popular mean girl, Valerie, who is accused of murdering her plastic surgeon. While Grayson works on Valerie's defense, Jane helps her real self, Deb, discover the truth behind her former enemy's motives. Meanwhile, Kim and Parker defend a producer who is accused of molesting a young girl while making a documentary. As the two cases progress, Jane finds herself becoming more like her former self as Deb and her feelings for Grayson begin to surface once again.
