In season seven episode seven of Driven with Pat & Nicole, titled Saskatchewan Whitetails Part 1, the hunting duo heads to Saskatchewan in search of big whitetail bucks. The episode kicks off with Pat and Nicole arriving at Deer Meadows Outfitters, where they meet their guide, Mark. Mark takes them to the first hunting spot, a lush field surrounded by thick woods.
As they wait for the deer to approach, Pat and Nicole discuss the hunting techniques they'll use during their time in Saskatchewan. They also talk about the importance of respecting the land and the animals they hunt.
Soon enough, a group of does enter the field, followed closely by a massive buck. Pat and Nicole get into position and prepare to take their shots. But just as they're about to pull the trigger, the deer catch a whiff of their scent and bolt back into the woods.
Undeterred, Pat and Nicole head to the next location, a wheat field on the edge of a river. As they settle in, they spot a buck in the distance. Pat decides to try his hand at rattling, a hunting technique where hunters mimic the sound of deer fighting to attract prey.
After a few minutes of rattling, the buck approaches cautiously, but ultimately decides not to come any closer. Pat and Nicole move on to another spot, this time in a narrow strip of woods. As they wait, they spot another buck in the distance, but he's quickly spooked by a passing ATV.
Despite some setbacks, Pat and Nicole remain optimistic, knowing that hunting is all about patience and persistence. They continue their search for big whitetail bucks in the vast Saskatchewan wilderness, determined to come home with a trophy.
Overall, this episode of Driven with Pat & Nicole showcases the challenges and rewards of hunting in the Canadian wilderness. Viewers will enjoy watching Pat and Nicole navigate the rugged terrain as they pursue one of the most elusive and prized game animals in North America.
