The show DreamWorks Dragons is an animated television series based on the popular movie franchise How to Train Your Dragon. The first episode of season 1 is titled "How to Start a Dragon Academy" and introduces viewers to the world of Berk, a Viking village that has been at war with dragons for years.
The episode opens with Hiccup, the teenage son of the Viking Chief Stoick, reflecting on a recent battle with dragons. Hiccup, who has a prosthetic leg due to injuries sustained in a previous battle, is eager to find a way to coexist with the dragons rather than fight them.
Meanwhile, Stoick is concerned about the safety of the village and decides that it is time to start a dragon academy, where young Vikings can learn how to train and ride the dragons. He appoints Hiccup as the head of the academy, much to the boy's surprise.
Hiccup is initially hesitant about the idea, as he doesn't feel qualified to teach others about dragons. However, with the help of his friend Astrid and his loyal dragon Toothless, he sets about creating a curriculum for the academy.
The first step is to catch a dragon for each of the students to train. Hiccup and Toothless set out into the wilds of Berk to find a dragon that will be suitable for training but quickly realize that capturing dragons is easier said than done.
As they are searching, they come across a group of dragon trappers who are capturing and selling dragons for profit. Hiccup is outraged by this and sets out to rescue all of the captured dragons.
After a thrilling battle, Hiccup and his friends manage to free the dragons and capture one for the academy. Back in Berk, the students are introduced to their dragons and begin learning how to train them.
However, not everyone in the village is happy about the dragon academy. Some view it as a threat to their way of life and are determined to shut it down. Hiccup and his friends must work together to prove that the dragons can be allies rather than enemies.
Overall, "How to Start a Dragon Academy" sets the tone for the rest of the series, showing that it is possible for Vikings and dragons to coexist peacefully. The episode is full of action and humor, and introduces viewers to a wide variety of dragons and characters that will continue to play important roles throughout the show.
