In Drake & Josh season 1 episode 3 titled "Believe Me, Brother," we see Drake and Josh trying to compete with each other in everything they do, from grades to basketball. However, it all changes when Drake tries to impress a girl by lying about his brother's ability to play the guitar. The girl happens to be a huge fan of a famous rock star, and Drake takes advantage of this by pretending to be the rock star's brother. Now, Josh has to help Drake pull off this elaborate lie, but things get out of hand when the real rock star shows up.

The episode begins with Drake playing his guitar in their room while Josh studies. Josh asks Drake if he can play the guitar, but he says no and continues to play. This leads to a discussion about who is better at everything they do. They decide to compete in basketball, and Josh wins. In the next scene, they compete in school, and Josh wins again. Later on, they compete in a game of pool, and Drake wins.

Then, Drake mentions a girl he likes named Tori. She happens to be a huge fan of a rock star named Devon Malone, who is playing a concert in San Diego. Drake tells Josh that he wants to impress Tori by pretending to be Devon's brother. Josh is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to help. They make up a fake identity for Drake and head down to the concert.

When they arrive at the concert, they find out that the real Devon Malone's brother is also there. They try to avoid him, but he keeps bumping into them. In an attempt to impress Tori, Drake starts playing the guitar and claims that his brother is an amazing guitarist. Tori is impressed and invites them backstage to meet her rock star idol.

While backstage, they run into Devon's brother, who is angry that Drake is pretending to be his brother. He threatens to expose them but agrees to go along with it when Drake explains that he just wanted to impress a girl. However, things go awry when Devon Malone himself shows up, and Tori introduces Drake as his brother.

Devon is confused, but Drake manages to convince him that they are related. He even goes as far as to claim that Devon taught him how to play guitar. Devon is impressed and asks Drake to play with him on stage. Josh is worried that this will expose their lie, but Drake goes on stage and manages to impress the crowd and Tori.

However, the real Devon's brother shows up again and confronts Drake on stage. He reveals that Drake is not really Devon's brother and exposes their lie in front of the entire crowd. Devon is angry at first but eventually forgives Drake when he realizes that Drake just wanted to impress a girl. Tori is also understanding and continues to hang out with Drake and Josh.

The episode ends with Drake and Josh playing the guitar together and peacefully coexisting without the need for competition. They even suggest forming a band together, but Josh is not sure if he can play the guitar well enough.

In summary, "Believe Me, Brother" showcases the sibling rivalry between Drake and Josh and how this dynamic changes when they work together to pull off a lie. Although things get out of hand, they eventually learn their lesson and work together to resolve the situation. The episode also highlights the importance of honesty and the dangers of lying to impress others.
