Ep 13. Defenders of the Wing, Part 1

The episode opens with the Dragon Riders exploring the Northern Markets, where they encounter a group of dragon riders from a tribe they haven't met before: the Wingmaidens. The Wingmaidens have a strong bond with their dragons, the Razorwhips, and are fiercely protective of them. They reveal that they have been having trouble with dragon hunters who have been stealing their eggs.

The Dragon Riders offer to help the Wingmaidens, and they all set out to defend the Wingmaiden's island. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when the dragon hunters arrive, armed with powerful traps and weapons. The Dragon Riders are able to hold their own at first, but they quickly realize they are outmatched and outgunned.

As the dragon hunters launch their attack, it becomes clear that they are after something besides just the eggs: they are after a powerful item known as the Dragon Eye. The Dragon Eye is said to have the power to control all dragons, and the dragon hunters will stop at nothing to get it.

The Dragon Riders are forced to retreat, but they are able to take one of the dragon hunters captive, hoping to learn more about their plans. However, the captive reveals little, and the Dragon Riders realize that they are up against a more powerful and organized foe than they thought.

As the episode ends, the Dragon Riders are left with a difficult choice: continue fighting the dragon hunters, or give up their quest to find the Dragon Eye and go back to Berk. They know that whatever they decide, their lives will never be the same.

Overall, "Defenders of the Wing, Part 1" is an exciting and action-packed episode that sets the stage for the rest of the season. It introduces some new characters and adds some more depth and complexity to the conflict between the Dragon Riders and the dragon hunters.
