Ep 8. REMEMBER ME

Through this journal, she comes to a better understanding of her mother's way of thinking and her own journey.

Dr. Quinn's trip East also gives her the opportunity to reunite with her sister and father, who she has been estranged from since she left to become a doctor. Her sister is pregnant and experiencing complications with her pregnancy, causing Dr. Quinn to put her medical skills to use while also reconciling with her family.

The episode ends with Dr. Quinn returning to her home in Colorado Springs, where Sully and the rest of her community are eagerly waiting for her return. Throughout the episode, the themes of family, loss and reconciliation are explored and resolved in a satisfying way.
