Furthermore, Matthew is trying to come up with enough money to pay off a loan. However, the task proves to be harder than he thought. He ends up having to sell some of his prized possessions, but in the end, he realizes that material items are not what matters most in his life.
The episode ends with Dr. Quinn and Dr. Jackson discussing the challenges he faces as a black doctor and how they can work together to overcome the prejudice he faces.
