Ep 6. The Exorcyst

In season 6 episode 6 of Dr. Pimple Popper, titled "The Exorcyst," Dr. Sandra Lee is back at her busy dermatology clinic, ready to tackle some of the most challenging and jaw-dropping cases yet.

The episode opens with a montage of patients suffering from various skin conditions, including cysts, lipomas, and nodules, all seeking Dr. Lee's expert care. We then meet a young woman named Tia, who has a lump on her upper right arm that has been growing for six years. Tia says that the lump has caused her a lot of pain and discomfort, and has even affected her ability to do everyday tasks like brushing her hair.

Dr. Lee examines Tia's lump and determines that it is a lipoma, a benign growth of fat cells that can form under the skin. In order to remove the lipoma, Dr. Lee makes a small incision and uses her fingers to squeeze out the fatty tissue. The procedure is quick and relatively painless, and Tia is overjoyed to finally be rid of the lump that has plagued her for so long.

Next up is a woman named Shari, who has a large bump on her back that she believes is a cyst. Shari has been living with the bump for years and is eager to have it removed, but she is also extremely anxious about the procedure. As Dr. Lee preps Shari for surgery, the patient breaks down in tears, saying that she's afraid the bump is hiding something more sinister.

Despite her fears, Shari agrees to the operation and Dr. Lee gets to work. After making a small incision, Dr. Lee uses a tool to remove the contents of the cyst. What comes out is truly shocking - a veritable explosion of yellow pus and brown liquid that squirts out of the incision and onto Dr. Lee's face shield.

As Dr. Lee works to drain the cyst, she notes that it is unusually deep and requires her to use a tool called a curette to scrape out the remaining tissue. Shari is in a lot of pain throughout the procedure, but Dr. Lee is able to remove the entire cyst and close up the incision.

The final patient of the episode is a man named Mark, who has a large bump on his forehead that he has nicknamed "the unicorn." Mark is self-conscious about the bump and says that he has been teased about it his entire life.

Dr. Lee determines that Mark's bump is a pilar cyst, a type of cyst that forms around hair follicles. To remove the cyst, Dr. Lee again makes a small incision and uses her fingers to gently extract the sac that contains the cyst.

The procedure is successful, but as Dr. Lee is cleaning up, Mark suddenly complains of dizziness and weakness. Dr. Lee becomes concerned and lowers Mark to the ground, calling for medical assistance.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as we wait to see what happens to Mark. Throughout "The Exorcyst," Dr. Lee demonstrates her expertise and compassion as she works to help her patients overcome their skin conditions and live a happier, more confident life.
