Ep 5. Team LaurDIY vs. Team Wassabi

In Double Dare season 3 episode 5, viewers get to see a showdown between two popular YouTube stars, Team LaurDIY and Team Wassabi. Both teams come out strong and ready to compete in a series of wacky and messy challenges that the show is famous for.

The episode begins with the host, Liza Koshy, greeting the two teams and asking them to come up with a team name. Team LaurDIY decides to call themselves "Crafty Crunchers", while Team Wassabi goes with "Wasabi Warriors". With the introductions out of the way, the teams are ready to tackle the first challenge.

The first challenge is called "Strawberry Shortcake", and requires teams to use their mouths to transfer strawberries from a bowl on one end of the stage to a bowl on the other end of the stage. Sounds easy, right? The catch is that the bowls are covered in whipped cream, and the contestants are not allowed to use their hands at any point during the challenge. This challenge is messy, but both teams manage to stay focused and complete it successfully.

The second challenge, titled "Boulder Dash", is a team relay race. One teammate must put on a giant inflatable ball and run a course while the other teammate stays at the start line and throws alternating colored boulders at them. The contestant must catch all the boulders of one color before moving onto the next colored boulder. The course is full of obstacles and requires quick thinking and coordination. Both teams manage to complete this challenge in record time.

The third challenge is one of the messiest challenges on the show, and it's called "Pie Joust". With mouths full of whipped cream, two contestants from each team stand on top of elevated platforms armed with giant q-tips. The objective is simple - knock your opponent off their platform into a pool of whipped cream below. The crowd goes wild as the contestants go head to head in a very close match.

The fourth challenge is called "Tube-A-Totter". Contenders are assigned to a large tube that is suspended in the air. Their task is to work together to keep a basketball in the air using only the tube. The tube is rocked back and forth to keep the basketball in the air for as long as possible. This challenge requires coordination and teamwork, and both teams prove their worth.

The fifth and final challenge is called "Human Hamster Wheel". One teammate is strapped into a giant hamster wheel while the other teammate stands on a platform above the wheel and throws balls at their partner's feet. The contestant in the hamster wheel must turn the wheel to make the platform mate turn. The team with the most balls in the target zone at the end of the challenge wins.

Both teams put in a tremendous effort, but in the end, there can only be one winner. Fans of Double Dare will not be disappointed by the level of competition and hilarity on display in this episode.
