Ep 8. WWE Superstars Week Finals
- April 25, 2019
In this episode of Double Dare, it's the finals of WWE Superstars Week, featuring two teams of young WWE fans competing in messy physical challenges for the ultimate prize. Each team consists of two kids and a WWE Superstar, with the first team composed of boys from Florida and their superstar partner, Kofi Kingston from The New Day, and the second team consisting of girls from Maryland and their superstar partner, Naomi.
Host Liza Koshy, along with commentator Marc Summers, gets things started by introducing the first challenge, "Ooey Gooey Battle Royale," in which the teams have to dig through a giant vat of slime to find three rubber chickens and race back to their team's bucket to deposit them. The catch? The chicken can only be carried in their mouths, and they're tasked with doing it while wearing a giant pair of bubble gum pink lips designed to make it even harder. It's a close race, but one team manages to pull ahead and win the challenge.
Next up, it's time for the "Juicy Joust," in which the teams have to attempt to knock their opponent off a raised platform using giant oversized foam jousting poles. It's a hilarious mess of bouncy castle antics as the kids and their superstar partners battle it out, with one team eventually emerging victorious after some close calls.
The stakes get even higher for the final challenge, "More Hurdles to Jump," in which the teams have to race through an obstacle course featuring various hurdles and obstacles, including a giant slide into a pool of slime. It's a test of speed, agility, and teamwork as the teams work together to navigate the course and win the coveted Double Dare championship trophy.
Throughout the episode, there are plenty of laughs, messy spills, and genuine moments of excitement and teamwork as the young WWE fans and their superstar partners compete in the challenges and celebrate their victories. It's a fun-filled episode that is sure to delight fans of both Double Dare and WWE, and a perfect way to wrap up WWE Superstars Week on the show.
