- April 22, 2019
In Double Dare (2018) season 2 episode 5, titled "WWE Superstars Week Game 1," the game show features a special week dedicated to the superstars of WWE. The first round of the competition has two teams of two facing off against each other to complete a series of physical challenges.
The teams for this episode consist of siblings and WWE fans. The Red Team is made up of brothers and WWE enthusiasts, while the Blue Team consists of sisters who have grown up watching and admiring female WWE wrestlers. Both teams are pumped up and ready to compete.
The first challenge starts off with a game called "Runway Runaround," where one team member has to hop over a "photographer pit" and then spin around with a WWE belt before passing it to their teammate who has to do the same thing. The teams are competitive, and both are fast and accurate, making it a tight race. The Blue Team ends up winning the first challenge.
Next up is a game called "Blind Tag," where both team members are blindfolded and must crawl through a tunnel to tag their partner, who then has to do the same thing. The Red Team starts off strong, but the Blue Team manages to come back and win the game, thanks to one team member's excellent communication skills.
The third challenge is called "Sick and Tired." One team member has to run on a treadmill while holding a giant exercise ball and then pass it to their partner, who has to run back on the same treadmill without dropping the ball. Both teams are neck and neck, but ultimately the Red Team wins this game, tying up the score.
In the final challenge of the first round, the teams play a game called "Down the Hatch." One team member has to scoop up a bowl full of slime with their mouth and then spit it into their partner's cup. The teammates have to fill up their cups with slime as fast as they can. The game is close, but the Blue Team comes out on top and wins the round.
The second round of the competition has one player from each team competing against each other in a race to complete a physical challenge. The first game is called "Pole-ish Joust" where the players have to stand on a platform with a pole above their heads and joust with their opponent. The winner is the first player to knock their opponent off the platform. The second round is called "Sack Attack," where the players have to race across a course while jumping in potato sacks.
In the final round, the winning team from the second round gets to answer a series of questions about WWE to win cash prizes. The team that answers the most questions correctly wins the game and moves on to the finale. The questions are challenging and require a good knowledge of the history of WWE and its wrestlers.
Overall, the WWE Superstars Week Game 1 episode of Double Dare (2018) is a thrilling and competitive game show that showcases the physical and mental capabilities of its participants. WWE fans will enjoy seeing their favorite wrestlers being featured on the show, while general audiences will appreciate the high-energy competition and the unique challenges that the teams face.
