Ep 11. Picture This; Garden Stakes

Dot is a popular animated Canadian television show that revolves around the adventures of an eight-year-old tech-savvy girl named Dot. Season one episode 11 is titled "Picture This; Garden Stakes."

The chase finally leads them to a barn, where they discover that the birds had made a nest inside the camera case and had laid eggs. The team is relieved that they didn't do any damage to the birds' nest. They decide to take a picture of the bird's nest and submit it for the contest, and it ends up winning them the first prize.

In the second half of the episode, "Garden Stakes," Dot and her friends learn the importance of labeling garden plants. Dot's neighbor Mr. Sherman has a garden full of plants, but he hasn't labeled any of them, which makes it challenging for him to identify them. Dot offers to help and comes up with the idea of creating unique garden stakes for each plant. She uses the 3D printer in her basement to make custom garden stakes, but the group's hard work is challenged when a rainstorm destroys all the stake labels.

Undeterred by the setback, the team brainstorms and comes up with a new plan. Using the QR code technology, they create new labels that can be scanned using a mobile phone, and a detailed plant description pops up on the screen. They place the new labels in the garden, and Mr. Sherman is delighted to discover that now he can easily identify and take care of the various plants in his garden.

In both "Picture This" and "Garden Stakes," Dot and her friends work as a team to solve problems, and they learn an essential lesson in each episode. They also impart valuable knowledge to the audience, making this show an excellent educational tool for young children. With a mix of technology, adventure, and teamwork, Dot never fails to offer wholesome entertainment to its viewers.
