Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz season 4 episode 3, titled "Escape From the Crystal Ball," follows the beloved characters as they face a new adventure. The episode begins with Dorothy, Toto, and their friends getting captured by Glinda the Good Witch's crystal ball. The crystal ball is a powerful magical object that possesses the ability to show the future.
The group is brought to a large underground cave where they are imprisoned by Glinda's assistant, Fitz. Fitz explains that Glinda had captured them because she believed that they were going to cause harm to Oz. Dorothy and her friends protest their innocence, but Fitz refuses to believe them.
Dorothy notices that the crystal ball is missing from its pedestal, and she suspects that someone has stolen it. She begins to investigate with the help of her friends, who distract Fitz while she sneaks away. They sneak around the underground cave, searching for clues on who may have taken the crystal ball.
As they search, they come across a strange and mysterious figure in a cloak. The figure tells them that the crystal ball has been taken by the Wicked Witch of the West and that they need to escape before Glinda's guards catch up to them.
Dorothy and her friends quickly realize that they need to work together to escape from the underground cave. Using their combined strengths, they come up with a plan to distract Glinda's guards and make a run for it.
The group successfully escapes the cave, but they soon find themselves in a new perilous situation. They are now in the Wicked Witch of the West's territory, and they must find a way to retrieve the crystal ball without getting caught.
Dorothy and her friends use their knowledge of Oz to navigate their way to the Wicked Witch's castle. They sneak into the castle, avoiding the witch's guards and find themselves in the crystal ball room. They are successfully able to retrieve the crystal ball but are once again caught by the witch.
The witch accuses them of stealing the crystal ball and demands that they give it back. Dorothy and her friends protest their innocence, but the witch refuses to believe them. In a last-ditch effort, Dorothy uses the crystal ball to show the future and prove their innocence.
The crystal ball reveals that it was actually Glinda who stole the crystal ball, and that Dorothy and her friends were innocent all along. The witch, being a fair ruler, lets them go and vows to keep the crystal ball safe from harm.
Dorothy and her friends return to Glinda's castle, where they confront her about stealing the crystal ball. Glinda confesses that she had misinterpreted the visions shown to her by the crystal ball and had acted rashly. She apologizes to Dorothy and her friends and gives them a reward for their bravery.
The episode ends with Dorothy and her friends discussing their amazing adventure and vowing to always work together to overcome any obstacles that come their way.
