In the fifth episode of the first season of Doraemon titled "The Not So Lucky, Lucky Cards!; Big G: Master Chef!", Nobita and his friends are excited about the new Lucky Cards that have come out. As they are feeling dejected, Doraemon comes up with the idea to use his Anywhere Door to visit different places and try their luck there.
Their first stop is a game show, where they compete against other contestants for a chance to win big prizes. Despite Nobita's initial reluctance, they end up doing well and win an all-expense-paid trip to Hawaii. However, their luck runs out soon after as they are chased by a group of angry bears in a forest.
They then visit a casino in Las Vegas, where they win big at the roulette table. Excited by their newfound wealth, they decide to try their luck at the slots, only to lose all their winnings and more. They are forced to flee the casino as they are discovered to be underage.
Feeling disheartened once again, they decide to try their luck at a cooking competition. Big G, a famous chef, is the judge of the competition. Nobita decides to participate with Doraemon's help, but they are no match for Big G's culinary skills. However, when Big G tastes their dish, he is pleasantly surprised and declares them as the winner of the competition.
In the end, Nobita and his friends realize that they don't need luck or prizes to be happy. They have each other and that's all that matters.
