Nobita becomes upset and begs Doraemon to give him back the Connection Cap, but Doraemon refuses. He explains to Nobita that while gadgets can be helpful, they can also be dangerous if used improperly. He encourages Nobita to learn skills on his own so that he can become independent and successful.
