Ep 12. Doctor Dora

Dora the Explorer season 2 episode 12 is titled "Doctor Dora". In this episode, Dora and Boots play doctor and explore what it's like to take care of someone who is sick. The adventure begins as Dora receives a call from her friend Benny, who has come down with a cold. Benny needs a check-up and some medicine, so Dora and Boots jump into action to help their friend.

They will need carrots, celery, and chicken to make the soup, and the closest place to find these ingredients is at Tico's store.

After they collect the ingredients, Dora and Boots continue their mission to get Benny the care he needs. Dora creates a special brew of herbal tea which is supposed to help Benny feel better. They also gather honey to soothe his throat. This place is soon followed by a fun musical sequence where they sing a song about the steps they are taking to cure Benny.

As they continue on their journey to find a cure, they run into some familiar characters along the way. They meet Isa, the iguana, who tells them that she is studying to become a doctor. She lends a helping hand by suggesting they try some apples, which are full of Vitamin C, to help cure Benny. They then move on and encounter the Grumpy Old Troll, who doesn't want to let them pass but agrees to let them cross the bridge if they can answer his riddle.

With the riddle solved, Dora, Boots, and Benny finally make it to the top of the hill, where they find a magical berry bush that has all the berries they need to make Benny feel better. They quickly gather them and rush back to Benny’s house, where they make the special soup and feed it to him.

Once Benny eats the soup and drinks the tea, he starts to feel much better. He thanks Dora, Boots, and all of their friends for taking such good care of him and treating him like a true doctor would. Dora and Boots have a great time being doctors and helping their friend, and viewers are reminded of the importance of being a good friend and caring for those who are sick.

"Doctor Dora" is a fun and educational episode that teaches children about basic concepts related to medicine and healthcare. It encourages kindness and friendship while also promoting healthy habits like eating soup and drinking tea when someone is sick.
