Ep 5. Dunk Cost

Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. season 1 episode 5 is entitled "Dunk Cost". In this episode, Doogie struggles to balance her personal life and work life. She decides to make a sacrifice by giving up her passion for playing basketball in order to focus more on her medical career. Meanwhile, while treating a patient with a gambling addiction, Doogie becomes personally invested in the patient's life and tries to help them overcome their addiction. Additionally, a new hospital administrator brings changes to the hospital, which causes tension between the staff. Doogie also deals with a difficult family situation when her father is hospitalized. As she navigates these challenges, Doogie learns important lessons about sacrifice, empathy, and the importance of balance in one's life.
