Ep 4. Wilshire & Butch

In season 3 episode 4 of Dog Whisperer, titled "Wilshire & Butch," Cesar Millan takes on the challenge of two very different dogs with behavioral issues.

First, he meets Wilshire, a high-energy Weimaraner who is overly excitable and jumps on everyone she meets. Her owners, a newly married couple, are struggling to control her and are worried about her behavior around children.

Cesar observes that Wilshire is a very smart dog who needs a lot of physical exercise to release her excess energy. Cesar observes that Butch has been the "boss" of the household for a long time, and that his aggression is a result of feeling threatened by the young child's presence. He works with Butch's owners to establish clear boundaries and a consistent routine, as well as teaching them how to use a "bark collar" to correct Butch's aggressive behavior.

Cesar also spends time working one-on-one with Butch, teaching him how to walk on a leash without pulling and how to respond to his owner's commands. Through a combination of exercise, discipline, and affection, Cesar helps Butch regain his confidence and become a happier, more well-behaved dog.
