In season 3 episode 18 of Dog Whisperer, titled "Amber, Snoopy, and Schroeder," renowned dog behaviorist Cesar Millan is visited by three different dog owners struggling with various behavioral issues in their furry companions.
First up is Amber, a Jack Russell Terrier who has severe anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. Her owner is at a loss as to how to socialize her, as Amber becomes extremely agitated and spiteful towards other dogs, even in the presence of her owner. Cesar works with Amber to re-establish her trust in her owner and teaches her how to interact with other dogs in a more calm and respectful manner.
Next, Cesar meets with the owner of Snoopy, a Boston Terrier who has become incredibly stubborn and resistant to obeying commands. Snoopy's owner has become frustrated and worried that her inability to control her dog will lead to dangerous situations. Cesar works with Snoopy and his owner to establish a more structured routine and clarify the chain of command within their household.
Finally, Cesar meets Schroeder, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who has developed a severe phobia of water. His owner is concerned because this makes it nearly impossible to bathe or groom him properly. Cesar works with Schroeder to help him overcome his fear of water and gain confidence in himself and his owner's ability to protect him.
Throughout the episode, Cesar emphasizes the importance of understanding and catering to each individual dog's unique needs and personality in order to establish a healthy and harmonious relationship between pet and owner. As always, the episode is filled with heartwarming moments and valuable insights into the world of dog behavior.
