Season 4, Episode 17 of the popular show "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan" is entitled "Blind Rage". In this episode, Cesar takes on the challenge of working with two very aggressive and dangerous dogs. These dogs are known to have attacked people in the past, and their behavior has become a major concern for their owners and the community.
The first dog is a Rottweiler called Tyson. Tyson is a very large and powerful dog, and he has a history of lashing out at people and other animals. His owner, Tony, is a retired Marine who suffers from PTSD. Tony relies heavily on Tyson for emotional support, but he is also aware of his dog's aggressive behavior. Cesar observes that Tyson is displaying threatening behavior due to Tony's behavior, as Tony's anxiety can aggravate Tyson's anxiety and aggression. During the session, Cesar helps Tony understand how to better communicate with Tyson, while also teaching the dog how to gain respect. By the end of the episode, Tyson has responded well to Cesar's training, and Tony has a better understanding of how to handle his dog.
The second dog is a Doberman Pinscher named Asia. Asia was rescued from a neglectful household where she was mistreated and never socialized with other dogs. As a result, she has developed aggressive tendencies towards other dogs. Her owners, Trevor and Amy, reach out to Cesar for help in hopes that he can help Asia become more socialized and less aggressive. During the training session, Cesar works with Asia to help her confront her fear of other dogs, and teaches Trevor and Amy how to correctly and effectively utilize her body language to help prevent attacks.
Overall, "Blind Rage" is an intense episode with high stakes. Cesar's experience and expertise are put to the test as he works with two dogs that have proven to be potentially dangerous. The episode explores how an owner's behavior can relate to the dog's behavior and how anxiety can change a dog's personality. Ultimately, Cesar's guidance and training help to significantly improve the behaviors of these aggressive dogs, giving hope to their owners and the community.
