The fourth Matt Smith Special is titled "The End of Time: Part One." This two-part story serves as David Tennant's swan song as the Tenth Doctor. The plot revolves around the return of the Doctor's arch-nemesis, the Time Lord called the Master, who has been resurrected and is attempting to conquer the universe. The final Matt Smith Special is called "The End of Time: Part Two." This episode concludes the story began in part one, and sees the Doctor and his allies attempting to stop the Master's plan to transform every human on Earth into copies of himself. This episode also features appearances by past companions of the Doctor and a moving farewell to David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.
