Doc McStuffins is a popular animated children's show that follows a young girl named Doc who has a special ability to communicate with and help heal her toys. In season 4, episode 17 titled "Toy Hospital: Get-Well Gus Gets Well / Triceratops Trouble," Doc and her team of toy doctors work to help a sick toy and fix a broken one.
In the first segment of the episode, "Get-Well Gus Gets Well," Doc and her friend Lambie visit the Toy Hospital to help their friend, Get-Well Gus, who is feeling under the weather. They are greeted by the Toy Hospital's newest doctor, Dr. K, who shows them around the hospital and introduces them to some of the other toys who are in need of care. Doc and Lambie then work to diagnose Gus' illness, which turns out to be a case of the flu and a cold.
Doc prescribes Get-Well Gus plenty of rest, fluids, and some medicine to help him feel better. She also reminds him of the importance of washing his hands frequently and covering his mouth when he coughs or sneezes to prevent the spread of germs. With the help of some of the other Toy Hospital doctors, including Dr. McStuffins (Doc's mother) and Dr. K, Gus begins to feel better and makes a full recovery, much to the delight of Doc and Lambie.
In the second segment of the episode, "Triceratops Trouble," Doc and her team are called upon to help a toy triceratops who has a broken horn. The triceratops, named Trixie, is upset because she feels different from the other toy dinosaurs and worries that her broken horn makes her look imperfect. Doc reassures Trixie that being different is what makes her special and unique, and that there's nothing wrong with having a broken horn.
Doc and her team then work to fix Trixie's horn, using a special glue and some paint to make it look as good as new. They also take the opportunity to teach Trixie about why it's important to take care of her toys and to encourage her to use her imagination to have fun and create her own adventures.
At the end of the episode, Doc and her team celebrate the successful healing of both Get-Well Gus and Trixie and reflect on the important lessons they learned about the importance of taking care of their toys and embracing their differences. The episode ends with Doc tucking her toys in for the night, reminding them that she will always be there to help them when they need it.
