Joni the Pony / Sleepless in Stuffyland is the twenty-eighth episode of the third season of the animated series Doc McStuffins. The episode follows the adventures of six-year-old Dottie "Doc" McStuffins, who aspires to be a doctor like her mother, as she helps a sick pony named Joni and tries to cure a monster that is keeping everyone in Stuffyland up at night.
In Joni the Pony, Doc and her friends are playing outside when Donny brings in a new toy pony named Joni. Joni seems to be very sick, and Doc realizes she needs to be taken care of immediately. She diagnoses Joni with "the flop-a-roo," a condition that causes her to feel dizzy and have trouble standing up. To help Joni get better, Doc and her friends play "vet clinic" and perform a checkup on Joni. They find out that Joni needs a blanket and some comfy boots so she can walk without tripping. They also discover that Joni's hoof is cracked, so they fix it with some bandages. Finally, they give Joni some medicine that makes her feel better, and soon she is galloping around again.
In Sleepless in Stuffyland, Doc and her friends are having a sleepover in Stuffyland, but they cannot fall asleep because of a loud and rumbling monster. Doc decides to investigate the problem and sees that the monster is actually a toy robot named Robo-Saurus. She realizes that Robo-Saurus needs a checkup, but he is afraid of Doc and her tools. So she has to find a way to gain his trust and help him feel better. After some creative thinking, Doc wins over Robo-Saurus and gives him an exam. She discovers that his batteries are low and he needs to be recharged. She also finds out that his screws are loose and needs to be tightened. After fixing everything, Robo-Saurus feels much better, and he stops making noise. Doc and her friends can finally get some sleep and have a fun sleepover in Stuffyland.
