She accidentally sprays too much water on the toys, and they are all soaked. Doc knows just what to do and diagnoses Mitzi with a "spritzitis" condition. She prescribes medicine, which comes in the form of a new hose, to help Mitzi.

The group goes on a scavenger hunt to find the parts needed to fix Mitzi. They find everything they need and return to the park. Doc replaces Mitzi's old hose with the new one, and Mitzi starts spraying water again. She is much happier and healthier thanks to Doc's help.

The episode concludes with Stuffy learning an important lesson about being responsible. He had borrowed Doc's stethoscope earlier in the day and accidentally broke it. He tells Doc the truth and apologizes. Doc forgives him and buys a new stethoscope with money she had saved up. Stuffy promises to be more careful in the future.
