Doctor McStuffins, Cuddle Me Lambie is a children's animated TV show that follows doc McStuffins (voiced by Kiara Muhammad), a six-year-old girl who has a magic ability to speak to toys. In every episode, Doc treats a different toy with a different ailment, using her medical equipment and problem-solving abilities.
The show's fifth episode of season one is titled "A Day Without Cuddles! / Collide-O-Scope." In the first half of the episode, Doc McStuffins' friend, Lambie (voiced by Lara Jill Miller), is feeling anxious about her upcoming trip to the toy store. She's worried that while she's away getting fixed-up, the other toys won't be cuddling as tightly as she's used to.
Lambie's fears are not unfounded, as we find out when she returns to the toy clinic, repaired and ready for action. All the toys are busy playing with their new gadgets and have forgotten how important cuddling is for them. As a result, Lambie gives them all a dose of "cuddle flu." This causes them to all catch on to the cuddle craze and start cuddling up again.
In the second half of the episode, Doc and the toys are learning about light and color. When their friend, a toy camera named Flash (voiced by Robby Daymond), goes haywire during a playtime activity, they discover a phenomenon called "collisions." This leads them to examine different objects around the clinic - such as a rubber duck, a marble, and a plastic bottle - and see how they look when they collide with each other at different speeds and angles.
