Ep 4. Nobody Likes Me

With all the responsibilities that come with being a parent to a newborn baby, Martin Ellingham has barely had time to spend with his wife Louisa. But his disregard for her needs takes a toll on their relationship, as she begins to feel more isolated and helpless than ever before. When a new patient arrives in Portwenn, Martin finds himself in yet another complicated medical situation that he must navigate with his usual lack of empathy. But as the people around him become increasingly frustrated with his behavior, Martin realizes that he may need to make some changes if he wants to salvage his marriage and his practice.

In "Nobody Likes Me," the fourth episode of "Doc Martin" season six, tensions are high as Martin continues to struggle with the challenges of fatherhood. At the same time, he begins to realize that he may need to make some changes in his personal life if he wants to keep his family together. With the help of his therapist, Ruth, Martin begins to explore his own emotions and to develop a greater sense of empathy for those around him.

As "Nobody Likes Me" draws to a close, Martin faces a major crisis that threatens to derail his progress and jeopardize his family's future. It will take all of his medical expertise, as well as his newfound compassion and emotional intelligence, to overcome this latest setback and to secure a more stable and satisfying future for himself and his loved ones.
