An officer is shot in the face by a driver he pulled over. A trooper is talking with the driver of a truck pulled over on the shoulder, when a skidding SUV slams into him hard. The officer is tossed high into the air and land into lanes of speeding traffic. A woman robbery loses her wig disguise and gun during a fight with a defiant clerk in a CVS drug store.
