Disorderly Conduct: Video on Patrol is a reality TV show that follows law enforcement officers as they patrol the streets, responding to calls and making arrests. The show is filmed using dashcams and body cameras, as well as from handheld cameras carried by the officers themselves. In season 1, episode 1, entitled "Episode #1.1," viewers are introduced to a number of officers from various police departments across the country.
The episode starts off with Officer Jones from the Memphis Police Department responding to a call about a fight in progress. When she arrives on the scene, she finds two men brawling in the street. She quickly jumps out of her patrol car and orders the men to stop fighting. One of the men refuses to comply and continues to throw punches. Officer Jones uses her taser to subdue the man and then handcuffs him. The other man is taken away in an ambulance for treatment of his injuries.
Next, we see Officer Smith from the New Orleans Police Department on a routine patrol through a high-crime area. He notices a group of young men loitering on a street corner and decides to approach them. As he questions them about their activities, he notices that one of them is carrying a gun. He quickly draws his weapon and apprehends the suspect without incident. The other men disperse, and Officer Smith calls for backup to help him search the area for any additional weapons or suspects.
The episode then turns to Officer Davis from the Los Angeles Police Department responding to a domestic disturbance call. When she arrives at the scene, she finds a distraught woman who claims that her husband has been physically abusing her. Officer Davis separates the couple and interviews them both separately. After investigating further, she determines that the husband was the aggressor and arrests him for domestic violence.
Later, we follow Officer Rodriguez from the Miami Police Department as he investigates a hit-and-run accident. He finds the victim lying in the street unconscious and quickly calls for an ambulance. Through careful investigation and interviews with witnesses, he is able to identify the driver responsible for the accident and makes an arrest.
Finally, we see Officer Chen from the Seattle Police Department responding to a noise complaint from a local resident. When she arrives at the scene, she finds a group of teenagers at a house party. She orders them to keep the noise down and leave the premises. As the teenagers begin to leave, Officer Chen notices one of them carrying what appears to be a bag of drugs.
