In the season two premiere episode of Dirty Jobs, host Mike Rowe dives into the world of dirty tools and machines. He begins his journey by visiting a farm in Oklahoma and discovering the harsh realities of operating a manure spreader. Rowe is quickly covered from head-to-toe in manure as he learns the ins and outs of this smelly job.

Next, Rowe heads to a manufacturing plant in Kentucky where he meets a group of workers who design and create industrial cutting tools. He quickly discovers that these tools produce a lot of debris and dust, making the work environment extremely dirty and dangerous.

Rowe then travels to a commercial laundry facility in San Francisco where he meets a team of employees responsible for cleaning the massive machines used in the laundry process. Rowe tags along as they clean the machines, including crawling inside one that is big enough to hold several people.

The fourth job on Rowe's list takes him to a wastewater treatment plant in Florida where he meets a group of workers who are responsible for maintaining and cleaning the massive pipes used to transport wastewater. Rowe dons a wetsuit and follows the team into a tight and dirty underground tunnel where he witnesses just how difficult and unpleasant this job can be.

Finally, Rowe visits a large-scale recycling facility in Santa Fe Springs, California where he learns about the dirty and dangerous job of operating heavy machinery. The workers at this facility operate massive machines that can easily crush a car, and Rowe gets a firsthand view of just how powerful and dangerous these machines can be.

Throughout the episode, Rowe provides his signature lighthearted commentary and humor as he learns about some of the dirtiest and most unpleasant jobs in America. He shares his admiration and respect for the hardworking men and women who take on these jobs every day, and highlights the importance of their work in keeping our country running smoothly.
