Dirt Every Day is an action-packed, high-energy show that takes viewers on adrenaline-filled off-road adventures. In season 5, the first episode titled "Ranch Racing" follows host Fred Williams and his team as they gather some of the toughest trucks and jeeps to race through the dirt track of a sprawling ranch.
The episode kicks off with the team arriving at the ranch, where they are greeted by Dan, the owner. Dan has been hosting races on his property for years, and is excited to offer up his land for a new challenge. Williams and his team are thrilled to have such a large course to race on, with plenty of hills, turns, and jumps to put their vehicles to the test.
Williams starts off by introducing the off-road machines that will be racing in the episode. There's a modified 1978 Jeep CJ-7 with massive tires, as well as a custom-built "evil" Ford Ranger with a 7.3L diesel engine. Another contestant is a Jeep JK Wrangler boasting over-sized mud tires and custom suspension. The competition is rounded out by a Dodge Ram 1500, featuring a supercharged 5.7L Hemi under the hood.
After giving a brief overview of each vehicle, it's time to hit the dusty track. The contestants line up at the starting line, engines revving and drivers ready for the signal. The race begins in earnest, with each vehicle launching forward and kicking up dust with their wheels.
Each driver has their own strategy for navigating the course, with some opting for a more cautious approach while others push their vehicles to the limit. The custom-built Ford Ranger proves to be a standout performer, smashing down the dirt track at breakneck speed thanks to its powerful engine and upgraded suspension. However, the other vehicles are hot on its tail, with the Jeep CJ-7 skilfully navigating the bumpy terrain and the Jeep JK Wrangler taking on the jumps with ease.
As the race goes on, viewers get to witness some insane jumps, fast-paced driving, and even a bit of mud-slinging. Williams and his team capture all the action from multiple angles, including drone footage that shows the sheer size and complexity of the course.
The race culminates in a nail-biting finish, with only a few seconds separating the first and last place drivers. Williams and his team take a moment to talk to each of the competitors post-race, getting their thoughts on the challenge and the course itself. The drivers discuss their favourite moments from the race, as well as what they might do differently if they had another chance.
Overall, "Ranch Racing" is an exhilarating episode of Dirt Every Day, offering viewers a front-row seat to some of the most intense off-road action around. From the custom-built vehicles to the epic course, this episode has something for every off-roading enthusiast.
