In the second episode of the fourth season of Dirt Every Day, the hosts embark on a journey to restore a classic 1961 Willys Wagon. This episode centers around the concept of a barn find car. A barn find car is a term used for finding an old car that has been untouched for a long time in a barn or garage and needs restoration. Dave Chappelle, the host of the show, along with his fellow team members pick up a Willys Wagon found in a barn that has been collecting dust for over a decade.

The episode begins with Dave assessing the car's condition and examining the rusted exterior. The team's objective is to bring the car back to its original form and turn it into an off-road vehicle. The first step is to remove the body from the chassis for a thorough examination. While the body seems to be in decent shape, the chassis seems bent in several areas. The team's fabricator spends hours straightening out the frame with a hammer and anvil.

Once the frame is straightened, Dave and his team begin disassembling the car. They strip the interior completely, remove the glass for replacement, and prepare the body for sandblasting. The sandblasting process reveals more damage than they anticipated. The team discovers several significant rust holes that they will have to patch up with welded sheet metal. The welding process leads to a visible improvement in the Willys Wagon's condition.

After the welding and patching process, the team moves on to bodywork. They use body filler and sand it down until the surface is consistent and smooth. They then spray a primer on the car's surface to prepare it for painting. The team decides to paint the Willys Wagon in a gorgeous turquoise color, a color that was available back in the 60s.

With the bodywork complete, the team shifts its focus to the engine. The team rebuilds the Jeep's L6 engine and replaces most of the parts. They then install new fuel and brake lines, steering box, alternator, radiator, and distributor. After fueling and priming the engine, the car comes to life with a roar, and the team celebrates with high fives and cheers.

The suspension and exhaust systems are also in bad shape, so the team replaces them with a new suspension kit and Flowmaster mufflers. The team lowers the ride height and puts on new wheels and gigantic off-road tires. The team also installs new seats, seat belts, and a roll cage to ensure maximum protection during off-road adventures.

In the end, the Willys Wagon looks and sounds like a brand new car. The fourth episode of Dirt Every Day season four showcases the team's dedication and passion for restoring classic cars. The Willys Wagon is the perfect example of turning a barn find junker into an off-road beast that can take on any challenge the road throws at it. The show is a must-watch for car enthusiasts and anyone who loves a good restoration story.
