One Smart Dinosaur / Petey The Peteinosaurus is the fifth episode of the first season of Dinosaur Train, an animated preschool television series. In the second part of the episode, we meet Petey the Peteinosaurus– a young Pteranodon who is eager to make friends but struggles to find like-minded dinosaurs. He is excited to meet the Pteranodon family and even more thrilled when he finds out that Buddy also loves collecting things.

However, Petey soon learns that despite his love for collecting, he is not as skilled as Buddy in identifying and classifying objects. Disappointed, he decides to leave the Pteranodon family and look for someone who shares his interests.

Buddy, who notices Petey's sadness, tries to make him feel better by encouraging him to keep collecting and teaching him some tips on how to identify objects. He tells Petey that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses, and he should focus on doing what he loves.

The episode ends with Petey returning to the Pteranodon family, determined to keep collecting and learning. He realizes that it's not important to be the best at everything, but to enjoy what you do and be happy.
