Buddy and his family have a fascinating and fun-filled adventure in the Triassic period as they come across a turtle that looks similar to Tank, but with a few distinguishing characteristics. The rest of the Pteranodon family is awestruck upon seeing the Triassic Turtle, and they proceed to learn more about the creature's characteristics and habits from Mr.Conductor's Troodon Trainium, which takes them on a guided tour back in time.
The Triassic Turtle's shell is much flatter, broader; and it has a unique pattern that makes it stand out. This helpful piece of knowledge inspires the Pteranodon family to hypothesize that maybe Tank's family also has a unique set of distinguishing traits that make them different from most turtles. After observing the Triassic Turtle's hatching procedure, the Pteranodon family made a discovery that they would never have expected. The Triassic turtle and the modern-day turtles have a lot in common, including the way they lay their eggs.
In the second episode of the installment, the Pteranodon family is introduced to Tank's new baby brother, whom they become very fond of. However, Tank starts to feel left out when Buddy dotes upon his cute and adorable sibling, which makes him feel miserable and often cranky. Buddy, being the good friend that he is, understands Tank's feelings and takes him aside to talk to him. Buddy speaks to Tank about his own experiences with growing up with siblings and assures Tank that the way he is feeling is very natural and normal. Buddy advises Tank to take a friendly approach towards his sibling in a bid to get over these feelings quickly.
To cheer Tank up, Buddy organizes a tour of the safest and most secure nursery that exists in the dinosaur universe. Buddy showcases how other dinosaur siblings stick together and care for one another, relieving Tank of all of the apprehensions he had about having a new sibling. Eventually, Tank and his brother bond over their shared love of boats, and Tank marvels at how he has inadvertently become a mentor to his baby brother.
The episode showcases the strong bond between siblings and how a little empathy can go a long way. The message of the episode is to encourage children to be kind to their siblings and cherish the time they spend together.
