In the first half of the episode, the family travels to the Valley of the Stygimolochs, an area where the Stygimoloch dinosaurs roam. The Stygimolochs are known for their distinctive horns, which they use to head-butt their enemies. Mr. Pteranodon is excited to see these creatures up close and hopes to learn more about them.
The family meets a Stygimoloch named Stiggy, who is friendly and eager to teach them all about his species. Stiggy shows the family how the horns on his head work and even lets them try head-butting some soft plants. Mr. Pteranodon is impressed by Stiggy's strength and courage but also learns that the Stygimolochs can be gentle and kind.
In the second half of the episode, Tiny, the youngest of the Pteranodon children, discovers her love for fish. The family is flying over a river when Tiny spots a fish swimming in the water below. She is fascinated by the way the fish moves and decides to jump down and try to catch it.
At first, Tiny has trouble catching the fish, but she doesn't give up. She keeps practicing and eventually catches the fish in her beak. The family is proud of Tiny and happy to see her having fun. They also learn about the different types of fish that live in the river and how they are all unique.
