Ep 18. The Clash with Merukimon!

The Digimon Data Squad season 1 episode 18 is titled "The Clash with Merukimon!". The episode starts with the team still being trapped in the Digital World, trying to find a way to return to their own world. They are soon approached by a group of digimon who ask for their help in fighting against a powerful mermaid-like digimon named Merukimon.

Merukimon is attempting to take over the Digital World, and he has already destroyed one of the smaller digimon villages. The team agrees to help stop Merukimon and sets off to find him.

As they journey through the Digital World, they encounter a variety of challenges and obstacles, including other aggressive digimon who are also intent on stopping the team. However, they eventually make it to Merukimon's castle, where they are able to confront him directly.

A fierce battle ensues between the team and Merukimon, with both sides using their powers and digimon to gain the upper hand. Despite their best efforts, however, it seems that the team is unable to defeat Merukimon and his powerful abilities.

Just when things seem hopeless, a surprise ally appears in the form of another digimon who had been watching the battle from afar. With his help, the team is finally able to overpower Merukimon and put an end to his destructive plans.

In the aftermath of the battle, the team is able to return to their own world, having made powerful new allies and learned important lessons about the importance of working together and never giving up. They also realize that there are still many more threats in the Digital World that they must be prepared to face in the future.
