Yoshi, a member of the Data Squad and owner of Lalamon, is feeling down about her abilities as a Digimon trainer. As she reflects on her past failures, an unusual Digimon named Kamemon appears and proves to be a formidable opponent. Meanwhile, Akihiro Kurata continues his plan to gather the necessary data to create the ultimate Digimon, and has his sights set on capturing Kamemon. As Yoshi battles against both her doubts and Kurata's forces, she must also come to terms with the fact that she must fight her own battle, not just for her team, but for herself.
