Ep 28. It's All in the Cards

Mimi, Joe, and Izzy are loco about a card game that everyone is playing, so they decide to go buy some new cards at a store. The store turns out to belong to Puppetmon, and he has a game set up to be played with the kids. When they lose their first game, he offers to play for their Digimon, so they agree thinking they could beat him. But things take a bad turn when Puppetmon starts enlisting forces on his advantage. In the meantime, Tai, Sora, and Matt are searching for their teammates and are also led to Puppetmon's store. However, they realize that it's a trap and are forced to play a twisted version of a bigger game which includes humongous cards and dangerous obstacles. The pairs have to fight to move on and return their friends' Digimon. It's a level of the game they never anticipated, and it's only going to get tougher.
