Ep 18. Tracking Down the Base of the Kaiser!

Tracking Down the Base of the Kaiser! is the eighteenth episode of the second season of Digimon Adventure 02. In this episode, the DigiDestined continue their search for the base of the Digimon Emperor. They split into two groups, with Ken accompanying Davis, Yolei, and Cody while T.K. and Kari scout the area from the air on Angemon and Angewomon.
As they search, Ken tries to explain his motives for acting as the Digimon Emperor, but the others are understandably skeptical. Meanwhile, T.K. and Kari spot a tower in the distance and head towards it, but are attacked by a group of Dark Rings. Angemon and Angewomon are incapacitated, and T.K. and Kari are left vulnerable.
Back on the ground, Davis, Yolei, and Cody spot an underground facility and decide to investigate. They sneak in and discover that it is the base of the Digimon Emperor. However, they soon realize that Ken has betrayed them and is working with the Emperor. Davis and Ken have a tense confrontation, but they are interrupted when the Emperor appears and sends his minions after them.
The DigiDestined are forced to fight their way out of the base, using their Digimon to battle against the Emperor's forces. As they flee, they run into T.K. and Kari, who have been rescued by a group of Digimon. The group reunites and continues to fight their way through the Emperor's stronghold.
Eventually, they come face to face with the Emperor himself, who reveals his true identity to Ken. The DigiDestined must band together to take down the Emperor once and for all, with the fate of both the Digital and Human worlds hanging in the balance.
