Ep 16. Submarimon - Escape from the Bottom of the Sea

As they make their way through the base, they encounter several obstacles, but with Submarimon's guidance, they manage to overcome them all. The group finally reaches the exit of the base, but Scorpiomon is still hot on their heels.

Just as it seems like the group will be caught, Submarimon makes a heroic sacrifice and stays behind to fight Scorpiomon. The DigiDestined and their friend manage to escape back to the surface, but not before bidding Submarimon a tearful farewell.

In the end, the DigiDestined are safe, but they are saddened by the loss of their new friend. The group then swears to continue their fight against the Digimon Emperor and his minions.
