Dig or Die is an adrenaline fueled look into the world of mines, miners, and the companies that control them. The show is based in the San Padre region of southern Mexico, where coal and copper are withdrawn from the earth via a series of complex machinery, hard-working men and women, and pure time.
When a sudden collapse occurs in the main chamber of the master mine, workers are left with no choice but to dig or die. This somber insight into the difficult lives of miners in such conditions is a metaphor for the current nature of corporations and employees.
