Martin's mission is to prevent the enactment of further liberal reforms in the Volkskammer. When he goes rogue, his mission snowballs, culminating in the fall of the Wall. Martin meets Nicole, Max's teacher, in a fateful encounter. Lenora has become radicalized in prison. The HVA scrambles to react.
