In season 3, episode 2 of Destination Truth, the team sets out to explore two different supernatural phenomena - the Island of the Dolls in Mexico and the Lusca of the Bahamas.

First up, the Island of the Dolls is a small island located in a canal south of Mexico City. The island is said to be haunted by the spirits of numerous dolls that were left there by the former owner of the property. According to the legend, a young girl drowned in the canal surrounding the island, and her spirit began to haunt the doll collection. Many people have reported hearing the dolls whispering to each other, moving on their own, and even changing position overnight. Some visitors have also claimed to see the ghost of the young girl herself.

The team begins their investigation on the island at night, using a variety of equipment including EMF meters and thermal cameras. They explore the abandoned structures and come face to face with the eerie doll collection, some of which are missing limbs or have had their hair cut off. The team splits up to cover more ground, with some members staying in the house while others venture deeper into the island.

As they search for evidence of the paranormal, the team experiences a number of strange occurrences. Dolls seem to move on their own, whispers and giggles can be heard, and some team members feel an unexplained sense of unease. They also uncover evidence of recent activity on the island, including a makeshift shrine and new dolls that have been placed on the property. Despite their best efforts, the team doesn't find conclusive proof of paranormal activity on the Island of the Dolls.

Next, the team heads to the Bahamas to investigate the legend of the Lusca - a giant octopus or squid-like creature said to inhabit the waters near Andros Island. According to local stories, the Lusca has been responsible for dragging ships down into the depths and attacking swimmers and fishermen. Some believe that the Lusca is able to fly through the air and even take on human form.

The team sets out on a nighttime dive to search for the Lusca, using underwater cameras and sonar. They also attempt to lure the creature with bait, but they aren't able to capture any definitive evidence of its existence. However, they do hear strange noises and feel an unexplained sense of unease while in the water.

Back on land, the team speaks with local residents and experts to try and learn more about the legend of the Lusca. They hear stories of encounters with the creature and examine evidence of supposed Lusca attacks. They also explore underwater caves and shipwrecks in search of any clues as to the creature's existence.

In the end, the team is left with more questions than answers about the Island of the Dolls and the Lusca. While they didn't find any concrete evidence to support the legends, they did experience some strange and unexplained phenomena that left them wondering about the mysteries that still lurk beneath the surface.
