In Destination Fear season 2 episode 6, the team travels to Sheboygan County Asylum in Wisconsin, a former psychiatric hospital that opened in the late 1800s and closed in the 1970s. The hospital is known for its history of mistreatment of patients, including the use of electroshock therapy and lobotomies.
The team begins their investigation by exploring the hospital's morgue, where they feel a strong energy presence and capture an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) of a voice saying "get out." They then move to the hospital's auditorium, where they capture footage of a shadow figure and experience unexplained noises.
As they continue their investigation, the team splits up to explore different areas of the hospital. Dakota and Tanner explore the hospital's isolation ward, where they feel a heavy energy and capture EVPs of unfamiliar voices. Chelsea and Alex explore the hospital's basement, where they capture footage of a wheelchair moving on its own and hear unexplained noises.
The team then regroups in the hospital's former kitchen, where they feel a strong energy presence and capture an EVP of a voice saying "help me." They then move to the hospital's former nurses' station, where they capture footage of a door swinging open on its own and hear unexplained noises.
As their investigation comes to a close, the team tries to communicate with any spirits present in the hospital using a spirit box. They capture several EVPs, including one in which a voice responds with "I've been waiting" when asked if anyone is present.
Overall, the team experiences multiple unexplained occurrences and captures evidence of paranormal activity throughout their investigation of Sheboygan County Asylum.
